PUBLICATION OF PAPERS

The proceedings will be published in a conference series. The authors of accepted papers will be asked to submit manuscripts before the conference to facilitate refereeing. The manuscript format and detailed instructions will be forwarded to the authors at the time of notification of acceptance

On-line abstract submission system through the web-site Abstract submission deadline is 20th May 2008.

Abstracts are welcomed on the following topics:  

Group 1: Material Growth

  • SiC Bulk Growth
  • SiC Epitaxial growth
  • Group III-Nitrides on SiC
  • Graphene on SiC

Group 2: Characterization & Modelling

  • Fundamentals (Theoretical and Experimental)
  • Material Characterization
  • Surfaces and Interfaces
  • Device Physics (Measurement, Modelling, Simulation and Reliability)

Group 3: Processing and devices

  • Device Processing
  • Device optimization/performances
  • Packaging and Modular Technology
  • Circuits and Applications

One short abstract (150 words maximum) is required for inclusion in the conference program book.

A second "extended" abstract should be provided so that the organizers might most effectively consider the material that you plan to present. In addition, this abstract will be included in a conference CD-ROM.

The abstract should be prepared as a .pdf file. The abstract should be written in English. Abstract format is Times, 12 point font. The abstract can be a maximum of two (2) pages, including figures and tables, with 2.5cm margins on all four sides. All figures, including captions, should be on the last page. Figures should be saved as .bmp, .gif, jpeg, .pict. or .tif, and inserted into the abstract. The abstract should be headed by the title, author(s), affiliation(s), address(es), as show before. The name of the corresponding author should be underlined, and the abstract should contain contact information for the corresponding author.
